Job Description

ATTN: Level II UT-T Technicians 

 

Superior Integrity Services is hiring immediately for Level II UT-T A-Scan technicians to perform CML readings at various client sites across North Dakota. Additionally, technicians will be performing direct pressure bubble leak testing at specific locations for clients as needed. Technicians will be based out of our Watford City, ND office. Mobilization to/from Watford City will be paid to/from your residence, plus mileage. Candidates will ideally have their own truck (4WD not required). Candidates with their own vehicle will receive federal mileage to/from the jobsites. A company vehicle can be provided, if needed. Additional Level II certifications such at MT, PT, RT, CR, and/or DR are a plus but not required.

 

Pay will DOE/certifications. Anticipated schedule is 5x10s; work schedule is subject to operational needs. Per diem paid on client billed days. Some opportunities may exist for additional overtime on the weekends with other clients. Project duration is estimated to be 6 months, may be extended or shortened per business needs. 

 

Duties Include:

Actively participate in Company and Client safety programs 
Produce quality work product and reports
Efficiently and safely execute work product
Detail examinations findings in report format
Professionally interface with customer representatives and team members
Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT/NDE tasks, in which they are certified, and interpret results of inspections 
Set up and utilize various equipment 
Ensuring strict adherence to industrial safety and health guidelines and our radiation safety program and regulations 
Organize and report test results 
Fill out inspection reports, JSA’s and documentation daily as required
Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management 
Adheres to the Company Policies
Complete timecards and expense reports daily 

 

Requirements:

Responsible for all activities performed on location
Maintain all certifications
High School Diploma or equivalent 
Certified or Certifiable Level II UT-T
Additional Level II certifications such at MT, PT, RT, CR, and/or DR are a plus but not required
Knowledge of field NDT/NDE equipment 
Basic computer skills
Knowledge in application and compliance requirements of regulatory codes (OSHA, EPA, etc.) and industry standards and recommended practices (API, NFPA, ASME, etc.) is a plus

 

Working Conditions:

Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, crawling, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing, visual acuity, accommodation and color vision
Moving, carrying and lifting objects in excess of 75 pounds
Climbing and working off of ladders, stairs and scaffolding in excess of 100 feet continuously throughout shift
Be able to climb ladders and platforms up to 250 feet with a harness and lanyard
Be able to step up into vehicles or onto equipment
Working extended hours and standing for extended periods of time
Working in indoor and outdoor environments in conditions of extreme heat and cold
Work in and near industrial hazards
Be able to work outdoors in warm, hot and cold conditions
Must be able to travel
Must be able to work overtime, weekends and evenings, as needed
