MISSION OBJECTIVES
THE VERTICAL SPECIALIST
Scaffolding is slow; cranes are expensive. As a Rope Access Technician, you are the efficient alternative. But you aren't just paid to hang; you are paid to perform. Whether you are an L3 supervising a complex rig or an L1 shooting UT thickness on a flare stack, you combine athletic discipline with technical trade skills to deliver results where others can't reach.
- Rig and inspect complex anchorage systems adhering to SPRAT or IRATA Safe Practices.
- Execute cross-trade tasks including NDT, insulation repair, coating application, and welding.
- Perform partner rescue and self-rescue scenarios in high-angle environments..
- Maintain detailed logbooks validating hours and specific work maneuvers for upgrade eligibility.
